"Downloading it was more of a hassle than I expected"
I tried downloading a standard from ansi.org it was kind of annoying. Not impossible or anything, and the file did eventually download, but the whole process felt more confusing than it needed to be. There were too many steps, then I wasn’t really sure what was supposed to happen next, then I was just waiting and clicking around a bit. Like, it worked in the end, so that’s good, but it definitely wasn’t a smooth experience...

"Training course didn’t quite meet my expectations"
I was hoping for a lot more from this training course, but it ended up feeling dry and hard to stay engaged with. There were a few useful takeaways, but the slides felt outdated and the instructor mostly just read through them instead of making it more interactive. I also expected quicker answers when questions came up, especially for the price. It wasn’t terrible, but I thought it would be more hands-on and better paced overall

"Support didn’t take no time getting back to me"
I had a quick question and they got back to me fast. Didn’t have no hassle getting it sorted out, and the person helping me was easy to deal with.
"Support Totally Saved My Day"
Tech support was amazing. I was getting so frustrated I thought I was going to lose my mind, but they stepped in and helped me out super quickly. Such a relief!

"Licensing info was harder to sort out than expected"
The site had the standards I needed, so that part was fine. But figuring out the licensing details took longer than it should have. I kind of felt passed around trying to understand what applied and where to find the right info. It wasn’t a terrible experience, just something that could be explained a lot more clearly.

"Easy updates, no fuss"
I usually assume updates are going to be a hassle, but this keeps me posted on changes without making it complicated. Super easy to stay in the loop

"Canceling and getting a refund was surprisingly easy"
I had to cancel my order and thought it was going to be a whole hassle, because that’s usually how these things go, right? But ANSI support got back to me quickly, and the refund went through without me having to keep following up. It was just simple and drama-free, which I really appreciated.

"My order finally showed up today, and..."
My order finally showed up today, and the thing I’m mostly thinking about right now is that the shipping took longer than I expected. The standard itself is fine, but since it just arrived, the wait is what’s freshest in my mind.

"Formatting could use some work"
I bought a document and the information I needed was there, but the formatting was kind of hard to describe — just a bit messy and awkward in places. Some pages felt cramped and weren’t that easy to read on my screen. For the price, I expected the files to be cleaner. It does the job, but the overall experience wasn’t great.

"Works fine, but a little “clunky”"
The site gets the job done, but I found it a bit confusing to use. Tracking down specific standards or info took more clicks than I expected, and some pages feel kind of “dated.” The search works, but it could definitely be better. Overall, it’s not bad, just not as smooth as I’d hoped

"Good resource, but a little harder to use than I expected"
ansi definitely has a ton of standards available, which is helpful. Compared to some other sites I’ve used, though, it can take me longer to find the exact one I need. A few pages feel a bit clunky too, so the whole process isn’t as smooth as I’d like. It gets the job done, but I wish it were a little easier to navigate
"Updating my account was surprisingly easy"
I had to update some account info, which I usually dread because I’m not a fan of dealing with that kind of thing. But it went smoothly. Support got back to me fast and sorted it out without making me go through a bunch of back-and-forth.

"The membership has honestly paid off for us"
We joined ANSI mostly because we needed an easier way to stay on top of standards updates and get access to member info. I know memberships can feel like just another expense, but for us it’s been easy to justify. The alerts and committee-related updates have helped our team avoid missing important changes, which saves a lot of back-and-forth later. It’s not always the easiest site to navigate, and I do wish that part were smoother, but overall it’s been worth it for the time it saves us.

"Search was kind of a hassle"
I had a hard time finding the standards I needed. The search just didn’t feel very intuitive, and the menus were kind of confusing to click through. It took longer than it should have.

"Checkout was quick and painless. I paid, the..."
Checkout was quick and painless. I paid, the receipt showed up right away, and that was it, no hiccups or weird delays. For some reason I remember there was a tiny spinning icon that looked like a little gray donut, but it only showed for a second

"Accreditation support was easy to deal with"
Umm, I had a smooth experience with the accreditation support team. They gave me helpful answers without making the whole thing feel like a hassle
"Helpful standards, but the prices add up fast"
I used ANSI Store to grab a standard I needed, the site was straightforward. I searched for the document, found the right version, paid, downloaded it, opened the PDF, and everything worked like it was supposed to. It felt legit, the file wasn’t confusing to access, and I didn’t have to jump through a bunch of weird hoops like making three accounts, waiting for an email, installing special software, or dealing with a broken checkout page.
That said, the pricing is the part that made me hesitate. Some of these standards are really expensive, especially when you only need one small detail, one table, one reference, one spec for a project, or one answer for a client. It’s hard to feel great about paying a lot for what is basically a PDF you might open once or twice. I get that standards have value, but I wish there were cheaper options for individuals, small businesses, students, freelancers, or people who just need temporary access.

"Certification took a bit longer than I thought"
The process was, like, okay overall, but it definitely felt kind of slow. I mean, everything worked out in the end, but I was sort of expecting the certification to be finished a little sooner

"My first impression wasn’t great, and that..."
My first impression wasn’t great, and that kind of set the tone for me. It didn’t feel very reassuring right off the bat, so I’m still not sure I fully trust it yet. Maybe it’ll turn out better with more time, but for now, the trust feels shaky...
